Review of Ghost Story (1981) by E W — 20 Feb 2010
Not a very good adaptation of Straub's finest novel. The one single difference which remains to be justified is how the book and the film treat the Mobley character; this is shown by what transpires as the car is rolling into the lake.
Although a seemingly small difference, it has a profound impact on the story.
