Review of Ghost Son (2007) by Ismael L — 22 Jan 2008
Long, boring movie. It can be said that the parts with the quote-unquote "ghost son" are pretty tense, although that may also be due to the fact that I watched the movie alone and in the dark, so even your standard something-jumps-out-at-the-camera-with-a-rise-in-the-music was kind of startling me.
You are plunged into a relationship between the woman and her husband and expected to believe that they love each other. I never once believed that.
There's really not much else I need to say.
I should have rented Eastern Promises.
