Review of Ghost Ship (2002) by Karl H — 27 May 2009
I felt that this film had a better story than was first advertised. First off, it's based in historical fact, regarding ships of the time, and gives the feel of a legend, like the Flying Dutchman or Mary Celeste.
This story however also features a twist concerning the nature of greed, and the evils to which we're susceptible. The heroine is aided by a little girl's ghost, which has a wonderful ploy of good versus evil, not seen since Pet Sematary.
