It's not the best - hey, it's not even good, really - but it's certainly not deserving of the beating it's taken from the public. There are some pretty awesome scenes here for horror fans (e.
G. the opening sequence), and while it all draws from (sub)standard fare, it managed to keep me watching for its duration ... which is saying something, at least.
