Review of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011) by Ethan P — 26 Oct 2012
Ghost Rider: Go home.
[Ghost Rider slams Roarke into the ground, sending him back to Hell].
If I must say, the very first thing I would like to say is: Why? Why? another Ghost Rider movie? Nobody really liked the first one. Why make another one? This movie really was just another compilation of stupid corny action scenes that are just too insane to make any sort of sense. A character shown in this movie seems to be completely useless until you finally barely find his purpose over 45 minuets into the movie. The entire plot is falling apart since it's beginning. The re-cap of what happened in the first film (getting to know Johnny Blaze, Telling how Ghost Rider had started) was totally incorrect in several ways. I knew that almost all squeals are complete disappointments, but this one, was even worse than I could ever expect. I have never really been impressed with Nicolas Cage's work anyway. I think really the only good movies that I know of that he actually did good in (being the lead actor) were the National Treasure movies. Those were good. Other than that, there is nothing much good out there of his... I would never even bother to watch this movie. It is a waste of DVR space, waste of money, and of course, TIME. Precious, lovable, amazing time, down the crapper. I think a 1 might be slightly generous, but eh, I don't care.
