Review of Ghost Rider (2007) by Jacob A — 05 Aug 2012
Sadly...This would've been bloody awesome. But the lack of supernatural knowledge seems to show very bright and shiney in here. If creative minds could dig into the mythos that surrounds Ghost rider, being Satan's bounty hunter, we would've gotten something really worth our time.
If you put anything of Dante's Inferno in here, that would made this most enjoyable. But this movie hardly scratches the surface of going into any demonic mythos. Not to mention the logic that it operates on.
But think about it...Ghost rider works for the devil who just gave him these powers, he rebels against the devil. Doesn't The Devil still have the ability to strip him of his abilities anyways? The villians, Blackheart (Supposed Devil's son) and his lackies were laughable Twilight rejects with battles that didn't even try to entertain.
The story is bland, The Anti-climax is just a good example of what I feel maybe waiting for me on it's sequal. The only thing this movie did have was style, but by itself, it fails miserably.
