Review of Ghost Rider (2007) by Torion O — 15 May 2015
Nicolas Cage strikes again! His bad acting of a terrible script is just the beginning of where this film goes wrong. This movie commits the unforgivable sin of assuming the viewer read the comic or at least has a fundamental understanding of the comic book character.
Not one aspect of his powers and abilities is explained and the villains are obscure and vague. San Elliot's character is a waste of film and time. AND when given the chance to escape this curse Johnny simply doesn't for reasons that are not made clear.
I gave it one star for at least acknowledging. The comic book and the film have something in common.
