Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Rich M — 12 Apr 2017

I'm a fan of the source material and this movie is a nice addition to the series' body of work.

Scar Jo did a good job with the character. They did a better than 'typical Hollywood' job of trimming down the source material to fit into 1hr 45min as well as to not overly complicate the plot. The story was adapted well to fit both the script and actress playing the role.

I believe most of the ratings for this movie are not based on the quality of the film.
