Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Lee A — 19 Jun 2017
Ghost in the shell is visually and auditory fantastic. It is probably the best cyberpunk world I have seen since Blade Runner. Sadly, the movie misses the opportunity to innovate on the core idea of what it means to be human and the line between human and robot.
Everything the movie throws at us, we have already seen many times, even though many of those movies have taken that idea from the Ghost in the Shell anime in the first place.
