Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Niall O — 08 Sep 2017
I've never seen any of the anime, so I can only judge the movie on its own merits. Sadly it's still an incoherent mess, lots of action, gun fights and explosions, but not a lot of logic. The big character reveal is predictable, and Scarlet seems to really be made of plastic and machine parts, judging from her leaden emotional range.
