Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by 7Shadesofeffort — 17 Apr 2017
If you need 2 hours long monologues or static scenes of majestic silence to convince yourself that you are enjoying some kind of high art while watching cartoons about naked robot with boobs, you'd probably better keep rewatching Mamoru Oshii's GITS and avoid this one at any cost. If you have some problems with robotic body not being asian, black or at least transgender refugee, you'll probably hate it too. People who are seriously allergic to garbage villains should also be cautious.
But if you don't fall under any of these categories, your health is totally fine and you can freely enjoy this delightful cyberpunk action movie. There's not so much of them nowadays. Bato is cool btw.
6 out of 7: magnificent.
