Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Bfm — 24 Jan 2018
This wasn't very good on any level.
The CGI is bad, the makeup is bad (you can see where it transitions to the actor's real bodies), the cinematography is generic, the casting and acting is as bad as it can get,.
There are no interesting lines said, the action scenes make you feel sleepy, as you have seen everything before (mostly in the Matrix - just that it was 20 times better in that),.
And the music is ... you might as well just open a window - chances are you get the same amount of rhythm and melody.
Also why is everyone in Japan white and talking English?
Are they afraid that we, the stupid audience won't be able to "tell them apart" and are too lazy to read some subtitles?
Everybody involved, please stop making movies - you neither have talent, nor creative vision. YOU are the real robots with this movie.
