After all the controversy this film created casting Scarlett Johansson, I thought it might at least have a story worth being bugged about. Ghost In The Shell lacks a sensible plot so anything that comes afterwards is worthless really.
Casting anybody in the leading role of Major would've lead up to the same outcome: the film is nothing more than overbearing CGI and meaningless action sequences. I wasn't familiar with anime but it sure felt like this nonsense seemed to go on forever and I hated every minute of it.
