Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Digital B — 13 Apr 2017

I was disappointed. Visually it was stimulating, but being a long time follow of the manga I found too many changes to the original story and characters. I disliked the lack of emotional and philosophical questions about "Who am I?" and "What makes me human?".

Instead the director opted for a more traditional Hollywood action movie. I also found some of the scenes to be lacking in quality for the CG, mainly the road/car scenes. I did enjoy it, but as I walked out of the theater I was already forgetting it.
