Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Kyle E — 06 Nov 2007
An interesting follow up to one of the greatest mangas of all time, Ghost In The Shell 2 is not a failure by any means, but definately falls, understandably, of the first. There's a number of reasons why this is, one has to do with the lack of the Major character, but more than that is Oshii's insistance to to create a fully realised world, unfortunately sacrificing the focus of the story.
Starts off really well, but ultimately looses steam. Intereting, but not great.
