Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Jandei K — 01 Jan 2010
Definitely surpassed the first film in its brilliance (as difficult as it is for me to say). Was a little disappointed at the lack of Motoko's appearance but perhaps that's what really brings it out from the rest of gits franchise.
The philosophical abstraction through-out the whole movie was superb. Really added to the nature of this movie's premise- question of reality, organic vs artificial, and the blur between the two.
