Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Marco A — 03 Nov 2011
I use the term 'mindblowing' frequently when it comes to animation films because of my deep admiration for the genre. And Ghost In The Shell II: Innocence is no exception. It has the gritty, yet poetic landscape of Bladerunner but with the fast-paced real time action of The Matrix.
Add to it the dreamlike color palette of any Miyazaki film and you have one truly breathtaking experience ahead of you. 5 stars.
