Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Dirk D — 27 Sep 2009

I thought this film was interesting, dark, and eye-opening, but my eyes had been open to this for a very long time. I think maybe some of the films' theme has become a tad dated, but whatever. I didn't see anything plot-wise that I hadn't seen before, but I will definitely say that the animation is absolutely stunning.

It is a gorgeous film, just not thematically speaking.
