Review of Ghost in the Shell (1995) by Dale R — 12 Nov 2012
This is one of the best anime of all-time, in my opinion. The philosophy and ideology behind the concept that we are more than the sum of our parts, and that our existence is a series of events that has a fragile lifespan, with the potential for data / information to be lost forever.
The English voice-over work, and the animation are fantastic. Note: The 2.0 version of the movie is very altered in many scenes, be aware that it may not mesh well with the older animation style. Two thumbs up! I highly recommend this movie.
