Review of Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999) by Matthew S — 06 Sep 2009
I'm starting to become a huge fan of Jarmusch. Like the previous films of his i've seen it isn't about plot but instead about characters and mood. I could've watched Forest drive that car listening to RZA beats for at least 10 minutes.
Great performance from Whitaker as the Samurai Gangster/Hitman. Awesome RZA score and it's all given great space to grow by Jarmusch.
