Review of Ghost Dad (1990) by Matt K — 04 Sep 2009
Surprisingly not terrible. Most of the jokes are pretty funny and the plot sorta makes sense. It constantly has a really strange tone, which is probably because all the lights have to be turned off so the kids can see him.
This causes the whole movie to have a noir-ish feel to it, that just makes it so strange. There are a handfull of truly amazing, mind-blowing, scenes. (The elevator collapse, and the phone-strangulation scene).
