Review of Ghajini (2008) by Smarojit C — 14 Jan 2009
It wasn't anything pathbreaking or out of the world. But it does manage to hold your attention till the very end despite the yawning.... length of the film. A perfect package of drama, entertainment and a the cute love story (which definitely is the highlight of the film).
A.R. Rahman experiments yet again and gives hummable tracks like 'Guzarish' and 'Kaise mujhe tum'... Ahmad Khan's choreography in 'Behka' and 'Aye bachhu' is brilliant.
Aamir Khan scores highly in the performance level and its for him that 'Ghajini' stands out. Asin Thottumkal is brilliant. She carries herself with ease and is nothing short of spectacular. Jiah Khan is good too in her bit. As for Mr. Ghajini himself, he is no Gabbar Singh!!
Overall, it was 24 carat entertainment.
