I have always held amir khan in high esteem and have lauded all his recent successes.. he is the most accomplish actor in bollywood today.. but wid "ghajini" I feel dissapointed.. wid amir khan movies u expect it to b original or sending a powerful msg but wid ghajini it is nothing like that.. there r no secrets that it is a remake of tamil movie "ghajini" n has the lead stolen frm the genius nolan which he presented in memento.. yes eventhough the character is carbon copy the script is totally different as the director is not intelligent enuf to do justice wid it so there he makes a masala bollywood memento.. Definitely the question takes place in our mind after watching this movie why did Aamir "the perfectionist" signed this sort of a movie.. there is no originality in this movie(as it is a frame to frame copy of tamil ghajini) ..mayb he really like guy pearce character n wanted to do it for his own sake but it would have been fantastic if he had wanted the director to work on the script.. There is nothing wrong, but why a remake & also copied material from Hollywood?.. Maybe because he'd like to show his body skills with this movie.. Of course Aamir has made a perfect body with some fantastic cuts throughout his whole physique but much something went missing.. I enjoyed the movie but from a critic point of view it is noway an amirkhan movie.. as a remake it becomes disheartening to see Aamir Khan use his method acting skills because they ultimately develop into nothing out of the ordinary...

There are some plotholes in the movie like in the finale of the story, Sanjay's short term memory loss, which occurs every fifteen minutes, is thrown out the window for a good period of time until its needed for a very introduction into the final duel... Sanjay also develops superhuman-like strength out of completely nowhere.. also y the hell sanjay's enemies couldnt use a damn gun in the final scenes of the movie?... the action in the movie is the best iv seen in bollywood.. I was really impressed wid the background score, feels like hollywoodish, excellent.. there are elements which are used to deepen the story but are actually unneeded in the greater scheme of things...

Now as for performances amir doesnot dissapoint n looks well prepared.. he handles every detail of sanjay character wid sublime skill.. his expressions are awesome n is the best part of the movie.. should get another filmfare, wat an actor!..Asin's Bollywood debut is vry impressive and she is delightful to watch... she makes the character memeorable.. jiah khan(bad actor then even katrina) is a joke she looks like an indian maid wid no acting skills, awful... the poice inspector in the first half of the movie seems forced but acts ok while the villain looks evil n does his part impressively.. his dialogue delivery is funny yet impressive at times..

Overall Ghajini is a film of many things but it fails to reach its potential... bcoz of the director, d story has some inconsistencies even though it tells an amazing story of love and revenge.... d acting is likewise very good, but some performances (specially jiah khan ) r iffy.. ghajini is not the best amir khan movie but is one of the best work by amir.. overall a good popcorn flick n great fun for the masses.. no wonder it has collected $48m in 2 weeks but then again bollywood? well it can happen.
