Review of Ghajini (2008) by Kevin M — 27 Aug 2010
It's amazing what an Indian spin on Memento can do. First off, the movie has to be extended over an hour. This makes time for the cross-caste, mischievous love story. Music videos are of course there, five of them.
Then there's the freakishly gorgeous female leads, great lighting directing and editing. A great thing about the added time is you can get a feel for the dead girlfriend, but taking away the insulin and multiple John G angles deviates from what made the original so memorable.
I like Ghajini (John G) being a concrete villain.
