Okay! This is the best Bollywood movie (?) I have seen so far (?)! Before the Bollywood version (Hindi) of Ghajini, there was Kollywood version (Tamil) of Ghajini, and the plot was adopted from the Hollywood movie called "memento" which I have not seen yet.

Both Bollywood and Kollywood version of Ghajini have directed by the same director (A. R. Murugadoss). Same main actress (Asin as Kalpana ) has given her performance for both version of the movie along with the same villain (Pradeep Singh Rawat as Ghajini). In the Bollywood version main actor is Amir Khan (Sanjay).

Its drive me nut why this movie named by the name of the villain! But I can forget that because there are more admirable things in this movie which can not be found in typical Bollywood movie.

First the storyline! Nice work! Movie has the gripping story which deviated from the typical Indian "Masala" movie!

Reason I have so rated this movie because of the performance (I should say Excellent performance) given by the Asin. Same time I should add Ghajini is her first Bollywood movie. Asin lived in the role "Kalpana". I doubt there are no other bollywood actresses which exactly fix in to this role than Asin. Her nice little humor and innocence, playfulness grip the viewers heart instantly and when I saw tattoo on the Sanjayas' (Amir Khan) chest saying "Kalpana was Killed" it spare heavy weight on my heart. Murdering sequence of Kalpana made me mad and I did cry long time! I would say murdering sequence of Kalpana made the cruelest villain in the bollywood cinema and naming the film as "Ghajini" made a sens! Ghajini is the movie which fall in to category "the movie I admired lot but I have no intention of watching it again". All of my friends- colleagues here in Sri Lanaka have watched this movie and amazingly we all share same opinion! "DONT WATCH GHAGINI AGAIN!" I should admire the performance done by the Amir Khan, the most talented actor in present Bollywood cinema. But I feel there should be more toughness in his role as a short term memory loss patient who seeking revenge! But still he has done his justice to the role.

Now Now!! Bad aspects of the Ghajini according to me! The songs, each and every song except the last song, contribute the reduction of the quality of the movie! Those songs made me no sense actually and they are not fixing to the plot and those songs made very bad effect! So big minus point should be given to the songs, especially Jiah Khans performing' "Latto". And the supporting actress Jiah Khan as Sunita made no sense! Bad performances! A.R Rahmans' music should be more effective than this!

In order to terminate my review I should say Ghajini is one of the best movies in bollywood cinema! And Kalpanas' and sanjays' simple love story will make you cry at the end!
