An epic film about an epic struggle. Everything about this film blows me away. Particularly the score and all of the performances by this amazing ensemble cast make it incredibly moving. Jeff Daniels plays Col.
Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain in the performance of his career (it is truly a shame that he was never even nominated for this... his performance is truly masterful).
