Review of Gettysburg (1993) by Janet F — 01 Nov 2008
Thorough, detailed look at the Battle of Gettysburg. I get teary-eyed at some of the true, human drama...The Maine 20th Regiment's story of being at the end of the flank on Little Round Top with no bullets, the wasteful insanity of Pickett's Charge, and the almost Greek tragedy of two best friends facing each other in battle after praying that they'd never have to fight each other.
You just can't make this up. A little more informative than entertaining, but worth watching.
