I don't know why the critics gave this such a bad rating - it makes me wonder if they even know a good movie. Sure, it wasn't perfect, and I hated seeing Selena Gomez act like a genius when I know she isn't one, but I actually thought this was a pretty good movie.
Good acting, good special effects, and it definitely not any more "fake" than Fast and Furious movies, so I can't really complain. I'd argue this is actually a little better than some of the FF movies.
