Get The Gringo is a mildly entertaining film, more importantly it somewhat stages a comeback for Mel Gibson. Get the Gringo follows the story of a 'Gringo' who finds lands up in a Mexican jail after being caught with a few million dollars.
What follows is a tale of how he tries to adapt himself in a very strange environment and also escape and retrieve the stolen money. The premise is simple and isn't anything out of the ordinary. Infact the movie is all about Mel Gibson from start to ending and he does a fantastic job, at times even rolling back the years.
Watch this movie just for him.
