Well mad Mel is back in GET THE GRINGO. Apprehended by the Mexican authorities, a career criminal (Mel Gipson) is sent to a hardcore prison. Let me start buy saying GET THE GRINGO is bold, stylish and tough as nails crime film and reminded me why Mel Gipson was so awesome back in the day. So the movie takes place in this different Mexican prison were the prison is like a city inside the prison with stores and homes itâ(TM)s a neat thing. In the movie mad Mel narrates thought out the film kind of like Johnny Depp doses in blow, fear and loathing and the rum diaries but in GET THE GRINGO it kind of takes away from the movie in parts. The cast was awesome and the story was a twist on a classic criminal in jail storyâ¦.cheers and happy watching.
