Love him or hate him, for all his shortcomings Mel Gibson is a great actor. With all the drama that surrounds him it is easy to forget how many good movies the man has truly made. Mel gibson revis is his role from the movie Payback in Get the Gringo.
This straight to video project could easily have been a feature film and in my opinion should have been. If you have seen Payback then you know the basic plot, guy gets money stolen, guy wants it back.
This film,however, is set in a Mexican prison. Gibson gives a wonderful performance in an entertaining film. I highly recommend a rental.
