Review of Get the Gringo (2012) by Dean K — 10 Feb 2013
Known as "How I spent my summer Vacation" in the UK?! A strange and quirky film set in a Mexican prison, which feels more like a mini city for of bad guys. This didn't get much hype, and I didn't know what to expect which possibly made me like it a bit more.
It feels a bit gritty and rough around the edges compared to a lot of Mel Gibson's films, but it was still a decent watch if nothing spectacular. Reminded me of Payback a little.
