My 19 year old son suggested I watch this a month ago and I really enjoyed it a lot (even despite a few hard to believe parts). Enough to watch it more than once, even. Gibson and the boy have GREAT chemistry that is fun to watch.
And the world of Mexican prisons they create/display is very intriguing. So amazing that this world is REAL and not ever been featured before. Good storyline, didn't get boring, and enough chuckles to offset the violence.
Nice job to first time director Adrian Grunberg! And thank you Mel for doing another film. Wish I could have seen it on the big screen!!!!
