"There's nothing worse than a sad clown.".
Adrian Grunberg delivers Get the Gringo in his directorial debut. The storyline was action packed and contained brilliant characters. The settings were perfect and unique and the plot actually reminded me of a cross between Payback and Man on Fire. The acting was also pretty solid and the cast includes Mel Gibson, Kevin Hernandez, Dolores Heredia, Roberto Sosa, Peter Stormare, and Dean Norris.
"You got to love murderers that recycle.".
My cousin told me that I should see this so we grabbed it off Netflix. I can say this was definitely better than I anticipated and was depicted in a unique setting (a prison like you've never seen before) and contained many entertaining scenes and dialogue. I adored the characters and how they were delivered and found this way better than I anticipated. This is definitely a worthwhile picture and a must see for action film junkies.
"Like my mom always said, fuck-off loser.".
Grade: B.
