I am a sucker for slap stick humor, so you may want to get some balance reading other posts. I remember watching Get Smart re-runs when I was a kid and just loved them. This re-make refers often to lines used in the days of old, so many of the younger generation may not get the humor.

Steve Carell, The Rock, and Anne Hathaway do a good job making this one go. The funniest scenes to me were the bathroom scene on the airplane, where Maxwell Smart consistently misfires his needle weapon into himself and the dance scene, where Maxwell attempts to invoke some jealousy by dancing with a rather rotund lady--they steal the show.

I miss this movie "by that much"..
