I only watched the Get Smart series once or twice, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the humor was definitely more intelligent than I expected. Steve Carell portrays his typical bumbling, loveable fool, while Anne Hathaway steps into some super-sexy leather boots and kicks serious tail.
Also, the Rock is in it, and that's always a plus.
