Review of Get Over It (2001) by Chris C — 03 Aug 2008
Averagely funny movie which delivers some hearty laughs but let's itself down when it comes to it's characters. Get Over It provides some genuinely funny moments from it's semi-decent script without relying heavily on gross out (the sick in the punch bowl is stomach churning though) but unfortunately Ben Foster is disastrous in the lead and has absolutely zero chemistry in his scenes with Kirsten Dunst.
Martin Short's drama teacher is a riot though. Amusing but could have been better with some recasting.
