I originally wrote this off as I'm not as big of a horror fan as I used to be (I also find it odd it was marketed as such, as it's more of a psychological thriller than anything else). Boy how wrong I was.
I love Peele on Key and Peele, so I don't know why I wrote it off for as long as I did. Such an amazing film in tackling what is an uncomfortable subject that should be talked about more. I love just how many layers there are to what makes this a thriller of a film and how well it works.
Can't wait to see what Peele does next.
