Really is endlessly watchable and should be rather palatable to anyone despite their moral and political beliefs. I would imagine far left or even far right viewers to have different, yet positive, interpretations of the material here.
Perhaps this family are your cliched rich white liberals, or perhaps you view them as deep south confederate flag bearers supplanted in upstate New York? Irregardless, the film simply has everything going for it and in the end manages to mash several genres together to make an unforgettable experience.
