Review of Get Out (2017) by Nolan S — 29 Mar 2017

Get Out is the newest thriller/horror movie, that is directed and written by a first time director, that is releasing in late February... What does that tell you? It tells you absolutely NOTHING, because Jordan Peele just made the most original film that has been released all year! Get Out is the kind of thriller that you would not expect to be made in today's world of dumb and cliché horror films.

This film takes what could be considered a "touchy subject" and presents it in a new and refreshing way, by using a nice blend of horror and comedy to keep us entertained. The only problems I have with this movie is at times the pacing seemed a little off, and there are one or two jokes that seemed misplaced.

However those minor flaws can be overlooked because Get Out was a very original film that I had a blast watching. I would highly recommend it!
