Review of Get Out (2017) by Atticus B — 10 Aug 2018
It's a really good movie. the plot is near perfect, the twist is UNEXPECTED and great, the character development is fantastic, but the whole idea of slavery is a little outdated in my opinion. while I do think it's a great film, I don't find it very comedic nor very scary.
it does not deserve to be called a horror film. my only other problem is the fact that people think if they don't like a movie about slavery and black people, then they'll be called racist, which is why I think this film is overrated.
if I could choose, i'd give it a 90%.
