I did NOT want to see this. lois talked me into it, and 20 minutes in said: "ummm, I thought this was a comedy". then admitted she knew absolutely nothing about it - except it was getting oscar noms.
It was disturbing, cringeworthy, made me sweat buckets, and was very entertaining. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
A movie I initially refused to watch, now has me recommending it. I doubt it will win an oscar for best picture, but glad it's on everyone's radar.
