The movie doesn't get into who James Brown was or why he was so important to the music industry . . Instead, the movie takes u along for a ride full of excuses and a milestone checklist. Although I'm a huge fan of Chadwick Boseman, this movie didn't do him, nor James Brown any favors.
. EXTREMELY disappointing!
