The main reason to see this film is the phenomenal award worthy performance of Chadwick Boseman who is just incredible in the role of James Brown. The film however overall is good but a little messy. There's a lot of past and present and future scenes that just make you loose track of what's happening or happened.
They just jump from one scene to another and go back to one later. It gets confusing and you can tell right away there are stories that were more intense then what was shown on film. The supporting cast of Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer and the others are all great but most of them have extremely small parts.
Overall a good film. A see film. My grade=81%(B).
