For this to work there had to be great casting and boy does Chadwick Boswick do the job of bringing the 'Living Legend of Soul' back to life. The recreations of the shows (especially Paris 1971) are amazing though it is Mr Brown's voice always hear.

Not quite as good as 'Walk The Line' or 'Ray' but a good solid biopic although there is quite a leap in time towards the end which makes motivations confusing. Still despite that I had a funky good time! Good God!
