It's long and a little all over the place, but Chadwick Boseman is absolutely EXTRAORDINARY as James Brown. He doesn't just portray him. He IS him. With his debut as Jackie Robinson in last year's 42, Boseman is an excellent discovery that I'm excited to see in more movies.
You'll also be tapping your feet to the funky production numbers in Get on Up.
