Wrongly, I let this one pass in the theatres because I thought: Robert Duvall, country... haven't we seen this before. Pleasantly surprised at the depth of emotion and the excellent script. I love how Duvall lets the character open up as the movie opens up, right up to the end.
Spacek is excellent, but Bill Murray steals every scene he's in.
