Fantastic Film! I'd not seen or heard anything about this film, and rented it on the strength of the cast (Duvall, Murray, Spacek). It is inexplicable to me that Duvall not only didn't win the best actor Oscar--HE WASN"T EVEN NOMINATED!!. Great perfomrance from Duvall.
Poignant, beautifully filmed story about loss, pain, anger and loneliness, and one man's struggle for redemptive peace before the end. Don't miss this film.....
