Get Low is now on my list of must own movies! A beautiful, artsy, and sincere meditation on the fear of life and even more so, the fear of death. While the movies premise was ripe in potential for being a mopy tear jerk-athon, it keeps the melodrama from being overbearing by having a wonderful sense of humor about it.
The movies pulse is kept beating by lively performances from Robert Duvall and Bill Murray, a duo that you must see, and a movie I would certainly recommend. I mean c'mon! The movie has Robert Duvall and Bill freakin Murray, how could you doubt that this movie wouldn't be good? Go watch it, and if it doesn't atleast make you laugh, perhaps you're the one who's funeral should be being planned!
