Review of Get Low (2010) by Keaton B — 05 Aug 2011
"Get Low" is an example of how a good story can carry a movie. With its superstar cast, beautiful setting, and excellent music, you cannot help but walk away satisfied. However, if you are the least bit observant, you can have the plot figured out before it's halfway through.
That, though, is of no consequence. You watch a movie like this for its enriching themes and aesthetic beauty, not for a cheap twist in the end.
